A broker and a software company in one
tridion benefits GmbH looks after occupational pensions and corporate health care — and develops the software for it in house. That dual role is the reason the platform looks the way it does.
Why we built the platform
Anyone who administers company pensions knows the picture: portfolio lists in spreadsheets, applications as PDFs, change requests by email, and once a month the question to payroll about which amount is being converted for whom. Every one of those steps is error-prone, and every error only surfaces years later — when someone leaves, when a contribution is increased, when the pension falls due.
We worked with other people's software for a long time and learned where it fails: not on missing features, but on the fact that brokers, employers and employees need to look at the same data and cannot. That is exactly what the tridion Pension Cloud solves — four portals, one set of data, and each role sees what it is entitled to see.
How we work
We are an insurance broker licensed under § 34d(1) of the German Trade Regulation Act, which means we act on behalf of our clients, not on behalf of an insurer. Advice, tendering and ongoing administration sit in the same hands as the software — so process failures land on our own desk.
Where your data sits
Development and operations take place in Germany, hosted in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main. Personal data does not leave the EU. What is processed for which purpose is set out in full in the privacy notice.
What we want to be judged on
Three things we take seriously, because in this business they make the difference:
Traceability. Every change to a contract is dated and attributed to a person. Who instructed what, and when, can still be evidenced years later — in a dispute that is the only currency there is.
Data quality over convenience. Curated data is not silently overwritten by an import. An import that finds a contradiction reports it instead of smoothing it over.
Honest answers. What the product does is on the platform page; what is planned is marked as planned. What it costs is on the pricing page — with no "on request" for things that have a list price.
