The platform

Four portals. One set of data.

Admin, broker, employer and employee all work in the same platform — each sees exactly what their role permits. Tenant separation is not a configuration setting; it is anchored in the database.

Broker portal

Portfolio, client files, advice, documents, reports.

2

Employer portal

Employees, contracts, payroll export, reports.

3

Employee portal

Contributions, contract details, funds, documents, requests.

4

Admin

Tenants, roles, permissions, data quality, feedback.

Fitting into your HR landscape

HR system upstream, payroll downstream

Benefits administration rarely fails on the subject matter. It fails on keeping the same data in two places. That is why the Pension Cloud deliberately sits between your systems: master data comes from the HR system, payroll figures go to payroll accounting. Nobody types anything twice.

tridion between the HR system and payroll, embedded in financial reporting A horizontal axis connects the HR system on the left, the tridion Pension Cloud in the middle and the payroll system on the right. Data flows in both directions. A surrounding frame shows that all three are part of financial reporting: staff costs, provisions, non-wage labour costs and pay transparency. Financial reporting UPSTREAM HR system Master data · joiners Salary · status changes tridion Pension Cloud Pensions & health care Sabbaticals Employee share plans Thresholds · history · tenants pale = in preparation DOWNSTREAM Payroll DATEV · payroll accounting Monthly export per cut-off People Status update Wage types Actuals Staff costs Provisions Non-wage labour costs Pay transparency One data flow, two directions Everything that touches pay and tax becomes reporting figures here
Between the HR system and payroll is where the numbers arise that later appear in staff costs, in provisions and in pay transparency. That is why the Pension Cloud sits in that line, not beside it.

Upstream · HR system

  • Joiners and leavers
  • Master data and personnel number
  • Salary and salary changes
  • Status changes: parental leave, sabbatical, sickness
  • Cost centre and legal entity

tridion Pension Cloud

  • Mapping person ↔ contract ↔ insurer
  • Contribution and employer match logic including thresholds
  • Insurer sync and document matching
  • Roles, tenants, history, audit trail
  • Portals for employers and employees

Downstream · Payroll

  • Converted amounts per personnel number
  • Employer match shown separately
  • Tax- and social-security-free portions
  • Changes as at the cut-off date
  • Monthly export with a secure download link

If your system is not listed

Integration runs through a generic framework with configurable field mapping — not through a hard-wired special case for each system. A new source system is therefore configuration rather than a project. And for anything without an API, file import remains, with duplicate detection and a protected source hierarchy: curated data is never silently overwritten by an import.
