The capacity in which we act

We are an insurance broker licensed under § 34d(1) of the German Trade Regulation Act.

As an insurance broker we act on behalf of our clients, not on behalf of an insurance undertaking. We are legally obliged to base our advice on a sufficient number of insurance contracts and insurers available on the market, and we advise according to professional criteria.

Registration

We are entered in the intermediaries register:

Registration number: D-FUGS-7IJXV-58
Register authority: Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag (DIHK) e. V., Charlottenstraße 35/36, 10117 Berlin, Germany, phone +49 180 6 005850
Searchable at www.vermittlerregister.info

Licensing and supervisory authority: Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Cologne
Unter Sachsenhausen 5–7

Participating interests

We hold no direct or indirect participation exceeding 10 % of the voting rights or the capital of an insurance undertaking. Equally, no insurance undertaking or its parent holds a direct or indirect participation exceeding 10 % of the voting rights or the capital of our company.

How we are remunerated

For arranging insurance contracts we generally receive a brokerage commission, which is contained in the insurance premium and paid to us by the insurance undertaking. No separate costs arise for you as a result.

Where we agree a fee arrangement with you in an individual case — for instance when arranging commission-free tariffs or for pure advisory work — we agree the reason, the amount and the due date with you in writing in advance.

For the use of our software we charge a licence fee. This is separate from insurance intermediation; the applicable terms are set out under pricing.
